1. Data controller

2. Data collected
We collect data strictly necessary to operate the service:
- Account registration: name, surname, email, phone, company name, tax ID/VAT, password (hash), preferred language.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, access date/time, session and device cookies, for security and statistics.
- Service content: questions, quizzes, uploaded logo, survey responses (ratings and text answers).
- Payments: data processed by Stripe under their privacy policy; we do not store full card details.
3. Purposes of processing
- Providing the WowQ service and account management.
- Collecting and displaying feedback for the quiz owner.
- Enforcing plan limits (trial, subscription, devices).
- Aggregate statistics, security logs and support.
- Legal compliance and responding to data subject requests.
4. Cookies
We use technical cookies for session, authentication, preferences and device identification (subscription device limits). We do not use first-party advertising profiling cookies.
5. Third parties
Stripe (payments) and infrastructure providers (hosting, email) may process data as independent controllers under their own policies. External links are governed by the respective providers' privacy policies.
6. Legal basis (GDPR)
Processing is based on contract/service performance (Art. 6.1.b GDPR), consent where required (registration, acceptance of terms) and legitimate interest for security and statistics (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
7. Retention
Account data is kept while the account is active. Quiz responses are retained to provide statistics and reports to the user. Technical logs are kept for a limited period. After account deletion, data is removed or anonymised except where law requires retention.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You may withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact: contatto@wowq.it.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: hashed passwords, HTTPS connections, access controls and backups following industry best practices.
